Ever thought about mentoring – We are recruiting
Music Educators Online are looking to engage additional mentors to support our network of learners.The role includes mentoring of learners and advising them on the completion of their portfolios. The role will mainly be undertaken online, providing services globally and entails online meetings with learners to assess prior learning, create personal learning plans and to review progress. Although there is no responsibility for marking portfolios mentors will need to understand the marking systems and what is required to fulfil the necessary criteria. Time commitments are variable, due to the nature of the course. Ideally candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

Experience of instrumental and vocal teaching in a wide variety of contexts
– Experience in mentoring adults- A teaching qualification
– Experience of organising and participating in online meetings, Microsoft Teams preferred
– An ability to think creatively to resolve issues
